Bianca Belair addresses her possible WWE WrestleMania 40 opponents.
After three consecutive years of taking part in title matches at WrestleMania, Bianca Belair’s path to a spot on the WrestleMania 40 card remains in question. Fan speculation has called for her to possibly face newcomers such as Jade Cargill or Tiffany Stratton, but that has yet to be confirmed.
During a recent appearance on Gorilla Position, Belair was asked if “all roads lead” to Jade Cargill following their encounter in the Royal Rumble match.
“That’s the question right now, especially since I didn’t win the Royal Rumble and I didn’t win Elimination Chamber which has kind of been my road to WrestleMania the past couple of years or I’ve been champion and neither three of those happen so at this point, I’m just trying to figure out how I’m going to get there,” Belair said. “I’m hoping I can be there physically. Not just on the poster but, Jade Cargill’s name is coming up, I’ve been seeing Tiffany’s name come up. Because we’ve been going back and forth so I think the possibilities are endless.
“I’m in a position I’ve never been in before so my road to WrestleMania looks a lot different. But, I’m just treating it like any other year. We were just talking about what did I have for breakfast. My diet is like it’s road to WrestleMania, I’m working out like it’s road to WrestleMania. I’m staying ready so I don’t have to get ready, so whatever opportunity presents itself, I’m taking it on.”
Magic moment
Belair went on to address the “magic” that she and Cargill were able to create just by having a stare-down in the Royal Rumble without physicality. Whether they face each other now or later, “The EST” is ready for more.
“I mean honestly, of course you saw the reaction with Jade, right? It’s Royal Rumble,” Belair recalled. “We didn’t say anything, we didn’t do anything. We didn’t wrestle, we didn’t touch each other and the crowd was going crazy. I think the Instagram post on WWE had like nine million views within two days. So, that alone just shows the type of magic that we can create by just standing in the ring so imagine the magic that we can create whether it’s a singles or a tag. Who knows what can happen?
“I think just the two of us being in the ring, people are just buzzing for it and it’s magic to be made. I don’t know if that’s this year at WrestleMania, I don’t know if it’s next year at WrestleMania because, you know, she was in Rumble. Now, when is she gonna come back? So I’m ready for either or [Cargill or Stratton].
