Andrade picked up a statement win in his return to the ring on WWE RAW.
On the March 4 episode of WWE RAW, Andrade wrestled for the first time since he returned to WWE at WWE Royal Rumble. He faced former WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews and showcased his signature offensive maneuvers, including his vicious elbow strike and his running knees in the corner. In the end, Andrade scored the win with the Hammerlock DDT.
The match on Monday marked Andrade’s first time competing on RAW since October 2020. The former NXT Champion requested his release, and WWE eventually granted it in March 2021. Andrade then signed with AEW and worked there until he wrapped up with the company following Worlds End in December 2023.
