“Hangman” Adam Page is set to take some time off following AEW Revolution, according to a new report.
At AEW Revolution, Adam Page competed in the three-way match for the AEW World Championship. Samoa Joe scored the win by making Page tap out.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, heading into the match and for some time in advance, word was that Page was set to take some time off. Sapp notes that the timeline was not specifically clear, but the angle with Page attacking referees at AEW Revolution could set up his absence.
Sapp also writes that Page’s status heading into the pay-per-view was touch and go until this past week. AEW did a segment with Page addressing his status for the show on the go-home episode of AEW Dynamite. There, he swerved everyone by faking an ankle injury. However, Sapp notes that if Page does miss time, it could be for a few months.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
