A new report shuts down the rumors that Ricky Starks‘ AEW contract is up.
Over the past few days, fans have been buzzing about rumors surrouding Ricky Starks’ contract, as some claimed that he was a free agent. However, these rumors appear to be unfounded.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, in asking around within AEW, it was said that Starks being a free agent would be news to them. Sources close to Stark stated that his contract was not up. Otherwise, there is no word on when Starks’ contract is up.
Starks last wrestled on the February 7 episode of AEW Dynamite. There, he and Big Bill lost the AEW World Tag Team Championship to Darby Allin and Sting. Starks then wrestled at the Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling event on February 8, but he has not competed since.
