Rey Mysterio is back.
During the March 1 episode of WWE SmackDown, Santos Escobar battled Carlito in a Street Fight after months of feuding between LWO and Legado del Fantasma. But toward the end, Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo helped Escobar until a familiar theme song hit.
Rey Mysterio came out to a massive pop, however he first appeared on crutches. Once Garza and Carrillo got closer to him, that’s when he used the crutches against them to prove he is in fact cleared and ready to fight.
Mysterio then hit Escobar with a 619 before Carlito planted him through a table in order to win. A fully reunited LWO with Carlito, Mysterio, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, and Zelina Vega all celebrated.
The WWE Hall of Famer has been out of action since November after suffering a torn meniscus. In his last match at WWE Crown Jewel, he lost the WWE United States Championship to Logan Paul.
