John Cena enters the world of Mortal Kombat this week as DC Comics character Peacemaker.
With the exception of Ronda Rousey voicing Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 11, John Cena is the first WWE Superstar to ever appear in a Mortal Kombat game in physical form.
Cena recently took to social media to comment on the addition of his DC Comics character Peacemaker to the Mortal Kombat 1 roster, tweeting out:
“Over thirty years of brutality in Mortal Kombat. It’s high time we introduce a little peace. It’s good to be on board. #MK1,” John Cena said in a post.
Peacemaker is the third character in the first Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat 1, following Omni-Man and Quan Chi. In the months ahead, Ermac, Homelander, and Takeda Takahashi will round out the first pack of DLC characters.
Mortal Kombat 1 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
