STARDOM announced the full lineup and first round matches of the 2024 Cinderella Tournament ahead of its first night on March 9.
The complete list of first round matchups are listed below.
- Hanan vs. HANAKO
- Yuzuki vs. Starlight Kid
- Momo Kohgo vs. Xena
- Koguma vs. Ruaka
- Saya Iida vs. Saki Kashima
- Yuna Mizumori vs. Lady C
- Sayaka Kurara vs. Natsuko Tora
- Miyu Amasaki vs. Ranna Yagami
As previously reported, the following participants received a first round bye due to company selection and prior STARDOM tournament placement tenure.
- MIRAI (will face the winner of Hanan vs. HANAKO)
- Suzu Suzuki (will face the winner of Starlight Kid vs. Yuzuki)
- Mei Seira (will face the winner of Saya Iida vs. Saki Kashima)
- Ami Sohrei (will face the winner of Yuna Mizumori vs. Lady C)
- Waka Tsukiyama (will face the winner of Momo Kohgo vs. Xena)
- Hazuki (will face the winner of Koguma vs. Ruaka)
- AZM (will face the winner of Sayaka Kurara vs. Natsuko Tora)
- Mai Sakurai (will face the winner of Miyu Amasaki vs. Ranna Yagami)
The first round will commence at the Yokohama Budokan on March 9th, followed by the second round at Korakuen Hall on the 10th and the Arcrea Himeji on the 16th. Afterwards, the Shiga Prefectural Culture and Industry Exchange Hall will host the quarterfinals on the 17th before the tournament concludes at Nagoya International Conference Center on the 20th with the semi-finals and final matches.
Per Cinderella tournament traditions, over-the-top-rope elimination is an added stipulation to victory up to the semi-finals. In case of a time limit draw, both competitors will be eliminated. Standard Japanese wrestling rules, however, apply to the finals match.
