The NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions changed hands on the February 27 episode of NWA Powerrr.
In the main event of Tuesday’s show, The King Bees (Charity King & Danni Bee) defeated Pretty Empowered (Ella Envy & Kylie Paige) to win the gold. This marks the first title win in the NWA for King and Bee.
Pretty Empowered previously won the titles by defeating M95 (Madi Wrenkowski and Missa Kate) at NWA 75 on August 7. Envy is a three-time NWA Women’s Tag Team Champion, as she has held the titles wih both Kenzie Paige and Roxy.
Outside of NWA, Bee and King have teamed up at New Texas Pro and Mission Pro Wrestling, among other companies.
NWA brought the World Women’s Tag Team Championship back at NWA EmPowerrr in 2021. The titles had been deactivated in the 1980s.
