Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Piper Niven has reportedly been sidelined with an injury.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Piper Niven sustained a hand injury last month. As a result, she has not been around recently. Per Sapp, the internal fear was that she had suffered a broken hand.
Niven has not wrestled since the February 5 taping of WWE Main Event. She did not compete in the Last Chance battle royal for a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on the February 19 episode of WWE RAW, while her tag team partner, Chelsea Green, has remained somewhat active in her absence.
As of this writing, there is no word on how long Niven will be sidelined or when she will return to the ring.
