Drew McIntyre takes yet another shot at CM Punk.
Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has delivered multiple heated messages about CM Punk since the latter’s return to WWE. He memorably said that he prayed for CM Punk’s injury after he suffered a torn triceps at WWE Royal Rumble.
McIntyre was at it again on the February 23 episode of WWE SmackDown. In a backstage interview, he shared his thoughts ahead of competing in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match on Saturday. McIntyre emphasized the importance of the match and how hard he had worked to get to this point. He then noted that if he lost, his career would be about as “useless” as CM Punk’s return to WWE.
McIntyre shared a clip of his comments in a post on Twitter and added a picture of CM Punk looking upset as he discussed his injury.
CM Punk is set to be sidelined for the next several months as he recovers from his torn triceps, and he will be unable to compete at WrestleMania 40.
WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE Elimination Chamber as it airs on February 24.
