Becky Lynch believes she should headline WWE WrestleMania 40 if she earns a title shot.
In recent weeks, Becky Lynch has been feuding with WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. They had a heated confrontation at the WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference. However, Lynch has yet to earn a title shot. She will aim to do so when she competes in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. With a win, she would earn the right to challenge for Ripley’s championship at WrestleMania 40.
Speaking with Josh Robinson for Love Wrestling, Becky Lynch was asked whether she thinks she should main event WrestleMania, assuming she earns a shot at the gold.
“Absolutely. Why wouldn’t I? I am The Man,” Becky Lynch said. “I’m obviously gonna say that I should be the main event because I am the main event.”
