Could Sylvester Stallone be involved with WWE when they return to Philadelphia this year for WrestleMania 40?
Sylvester Stallone is an iconic figure synonymous with Philadelphia for his role as Rocky Balboa in the Rocky movie franchise that has spanned over several decades.
It was reported this morning by WrestleVotes that WWE is interested in collaborating with Stallone for WrestleMania 40 in some form.
Andrew Zarian chimed in and backed up the report, adding that he knows conversations between the two sides have happened but is unsure how far along they are currently.
Stallone is no stranger to the world of professional wrestling and has been very complimentary of it in the past. The Hollywood star also inducted Hulk Hogan into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. The two shared the screen for Rocky III when Balboa took on Thunderlips.
