The Briscoes are being inducted into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Game Changer Wrestling announced that Mark and Jay Briscoe, collectively known as The Briscoes, will be inducted into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame. The ceremony takes place on April 7, and it will stream on YouTube.
The Briscoes were one of the best tag teams of their generation. They competed throughout the wrestling world, and they won titles with various promotions. The duo wrestled for CZW, GCW, House of Glory, and other promotions. Aside from the independent scene, they were 13-time champions in ROH, and they were inducted into the ROH Hall of Fame in 2022. Mark and Jay also won titles in TNA/IMPACT, NJPW, and NOAH.
Jay Briscoe passed away in a car accident on January 17, 2023. Mark subsequently signed with AEW, and he has wrestled for AEW/ROH ever since.
