Jason Kelce has spoken with the owner of the Kansas City Chiefs Luchador mask and intends to return it to them as soon as possible.
Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce had an incredible Super Bowl weekend. Jason partied alongside his brother Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs won another championship. However, Jason made headlines due to the Chiefs Luchador mask he wore during the celebration.
It’s recently been discovered by NBC Dallas that the mask belongs to 8-year-old Elijah Smith.
Smith considers the mask lucky and hopes to have it returned to him before the next NFL season kicks off. Kelce caught wind of the report and took to social media to announce that he intends to get Elijah his mask back, tweeting out:
“Operation “Get Elijah His Mask Back” is underway! I appreciate everyone bringing this to my attention, and look forward to uniting Elijah with his mask once again. Your mask indeed brings great fortune, I owe you big time, sorry it was commandeered,” Jason Kelce said in a post.
It’s unknown if Elijah is a wrestling fan or not, but masks like this are very popular in the world of professional wrestling.
