Booker T has been absent from NXT in recent weeks, but he says his return is imminent.
Ahead of NXT Vengeance Day, Booker T announced that he would miss the show and a few weeks of TV due to a medical procedure. He has been recovering ever since.
On the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T was asked when fans could expect to see him back at the desk on NXT.
“I’m coming back, I’m coming back strong in about one week,” he said. “I’m about a week out. Had a doctor’s appointment this week just to make sure everything’s all clear, everything’s healing up real good. I know it’s been healing up because I’ve been in the gym training.”
