One thing that most wrestlers seem to not be fans of is when they are cutting a promo and the fans chant ‘What.’ Usually, fans amuse themselves by chanting ‘What’ after every sentence uttered by a wrestler. Sometimes the fans ‘whatting’ wrestlers kind of throw them off. But a bunch of wrestlers retaliates with a witty comeback that shuts down the ‘What Chants’.
One such star who has been able to shut down the ‘What Chants’ is the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax.
Recently, while speaking to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, the Irresistible Force shared her strategy to shut down the ‘What Chants’. Nia Jax mentioned that all she is trying to do during a promo segment is to throw the fans off and see what happens.
“No, it isn’t. It was literally like, ‘F these people.’ [laughs]. Yeah, F them, and I just thought, ‘let’s see what happens if you get them out of their beat.’ People that do, they do have something in the back of their head, maybe I should start doing that. The ‘What’ has been coming in on my promos a little bit more lately,” Nia Jax said.
Nia Jax sent a message to the Women’s Elimination Chamber participants on WWE Raw
The Immovable Object is set to have her biggest match since returning to WWE. She will be facing Rhea Ripley at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event for the WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Championship.
The two had a virtual face-to-face interview on Raw last night. After that, the wrestlers who will be competing inside the Elimination Chamber Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Tiffany Stratton had a war of words and later it turned into a physical brawl. The winner of the Chamber match will be going to WrestleMania to challenge for the Women’s World Heavyweight title. One thing that the majority of the women were ignoring was the fact that they could potentially get to face Nia Jax at WrestleMania. They all were only talking about facing Rhea Ripley. This did not sit well with Jax as she came out and took out every single wrestler who will be participating in the Elimination Chamber match.
It is to be noted that Raquel Rodriguez was the only person to mention Jax.
