History somewhat repeated itself on WWE RAW, and Drew McIntyre rubbed it in Cody Rhodes’ face.
On Monday, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa interfered in Rhodes’ match against Drew McIntyre. Their involvement cost Rhodes the match, and the defeat marked the first time Rhodes has lost on WWE programming since May 2023. The nature of the loss was similar to that of Rhodes’ defeat at WrestleMania 39, where Roman Reigns beat him. After that memorable outcome, a fan threw a rubber chicken into the ring.
Drew McIntyre called attention to this aspect of the situation in a tweet, as he noted that there was no chicken this time. He wrote that it was just Cody’s tears as he bragged about the win.
McIntyre will aim to keep rolling as he heads into WWE Elimination Chamber. There, he will compete in the Men’s Elimination Chamber, where a world title shot will be on the line.
