Sami Zayn is determined to find his path to WrestleMania 40.
Sami Zayn has dealt with some setbacks in recent weeks. He had been sidelined for a few weeks until he returned in the Men’s Royal Rumble. However, Zayn failed to win the battle royal. Zayn then came up short in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, leaving his road to WrestleMania unclear. On the February 12 episode of WWE RAW, Zayn lost to Shinsuke Nakamura following a distraction by Drew McIntyre.
During a backstage interview on the February 19 episode, Sami Zayn noted that he was pausing his issue with McIntyre to avoid getting obsessed and sidetracked. He then stated that it was WrestleMania season, and he knew there was a path for him. Zayn vowed to be a champion, as he firmly set his sights on the gold.
