WWE SmackDown‘s viewership increased on February 16.
Per SportsMediaWatch via Wrestlenomics, 2.55 million viewers tuned in on Friday. This number is in line with last week, when 2.578 million viewers tuned in. SmackDown outranked all other sports telecasts, including the NBA All-Star celebrity game.
In the 18 to 40 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.75 rating. This is level with last week (0.75 rating in the same demographic). Both numbers are level with the February 9 episode, which drew SmackDown’s highest viewership since August 25, 2023.
What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with Kevins Owens defeating Dominik Mysterio in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match.
It was announced after weeks of negotiations that one-half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions, Bron Breakker, has officially signed with the blue brand.
Tiffany Stratton was also in action and picked up a win over Zelina Vega to qualify for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.
The close of the show witnessed The Rock solidify his heel turn by joining Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.
