Drew McIntyre Reveals The Worst Bump He’s Taken In His Entire Career

With the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event just around the corner, the top stars involved in the PLE have been doing a lot of media promoting the event.

One such star is Drew McIntyre. He was recently interviewed by Craig O’Donoghue for The West Australian. During the interview, The Scottish Warrior revealed that he is not a huge fan of Hell In A Cell matches.

“I definitely go in thinking this is going to hurt. I hate Hell In A Cell. That’s like my weakness. My ultimate match weakness is Hell In A Cell. When I was a kid watching it I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I can’t wait to be in the Hell In A Cell. I’m going to totally drag somebody up there and chuck them off the top like Mankind and The Undertaker.’ And then when you actually are in it and you’re on… You climb up on top of a cell and I didn’t realize I didn’t like heights so much. So until I was on top of a Cell and went, ‘Am I scared of heights? I never realized this until I was on top of a cell with no wire and it’s 20 feet down.’ Like a real 20 feet down. And I’ve lost every single Cell match.”

Drew McIntyre shares what his worst bump in wrestling is

Drew McIntyre also shared what the worst bump he had taken in professional wrestling was.

“I’ve fallen off the Cell, it was the worst bump of my entire career. And I fell off 10 feet off the side. I was halfway up. But I am six foot seven with my wrestling boots on. So I am looking back as before I fell. An additional seven feet nearly. So falling 17 feet through a table. And it was, ‘Oh you got a table. Can break your fall.’ I’m not going to suggest this for anybody but gravity is a hell of a thing. And you weight 280 pick up speed and it was the worst thing in my career. I bit through my tongue right through the middle. I looked like a snake or something. And yeah I get this crazy whiplash. I spoke to Seth Rollins about this. He’s taken the same fall. He said the same thing. Both been wrestling about 20 years. The worst falls of our career. Lost every Cell match.”

Drew McIntyre wants to win the Elimination Chamber and dethrone Seth Rollins at WrestleMania

Given his dismay for the Cell, he wants to compete inside the Elimination Chamber and move on to wrestle and defeat Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

“So keep me out of that Cell. I’ve won the Elimination Chamber. Get me back in that Chamber. So I can win, get to WrestleMania and win the World Title against Seth Rollins with fans actually there. I’m a two-time WWE Champion. Yet somehow I have had not one fan in the crowd cheering me on,” Drew McIntyre said.

McIntyre recently defeated AJ Styles to qualify for the Chamber.
