The Undertaker shares his thoughts on The Rock’s return as the road to WrestleMania 40 continues to heat up.
The Rock confronted Roman Reigns on the February 2 episode of WWE SmackDown, seemingly setting the stage for a WrestleMania match between the two. Instead, as seen at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference, The Rock aligned with Reigns while Cody Rhodes chose to face “The Tribal Chief” at WrestleMania.
Speaking on Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, The Rock’s return during the road to WrestleMania came up in the conversation. Co-host Matthew Lyda noted that other members of the roster feel slighted.
“No one will say that, but it’s in the back of their head,” The Undertaker said. “It’d be in the back of my head. There’d be that side of me that said, ‘Yes, this is good for business. This is the biggest star in the world. But I’m the one that goes out and grinds every weekend of every year. That’s what makes everything so cool. That’s what makes it real. WrestleMania’s gonna be fire. It is gonna be fire.”
