Triple H took some shots at The Rock on the February 9 episode of WWE SmackDown.
At the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference, The Rock sparked plenty of buzz when he slapped Cody Rhodes and later told Triple H to “handle it.” Triple H addressed the fallout of the press conference the next night on WWE SmackDown.
The WWE Chief Content Officer kicked off the show on Friday and noted that some people were acting like they had authority, but they didn’t, so they should know their role. He stated that the answers came from one place, and that was him.
The Rock recently joined the TKO Board of Directors, which led to some speculation about his influence on the road to WrestleMania, especially as he teased a match with Roman Reigns.
