AJ Francis has recruited former NFL player Brent Grimes.
At a recent Coastal Championship Wrestling event, former WWE star AJ Francis (Top Dolla) defeated Cha Cha Charlie in a Street Fight, but he didn’t do it alone.
CCW shared a clip on social media of four-time NFL Pro Bowler and former Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes jumping the guardrail and shoving Charlie off the top rope so that Francis could score the victory.
In the same clip, Francis stated, “How y’all gonna come at me and say, ‘AJ, who’s that who helped you?’ See, that’s your damn problem. Y’all don’t know nobody. This is Brent Grimes. Four-time NFL Pro Bowler. My former teammate on the Miami Dolphins and my best friend.
“And look, here’s the problem. You wonder why he showed up to the street fight with Cha Cha Charlie? Cause it was a street fight. Have y’all ever been in a street fight? Don’t you always have your mans at the street fight just in case shit goes sideways? Shit went sideways. Better luck next time.”
Francis recently made his return to GCW where he lost to Joey Janela in Tampa during Royal Rumble weekend. He also debuted at TNA Hard To Kill in January but has yet to make his TNA in-ring debut.
