Bully Ray believes that Cody Rhodes could level up if the road to WrestleMania is handled correctly.
The wrestling world has been voicing its overwhelming frustration following the February 2 episode of WWE SmackDown. There, Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes revealed that he would not be facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Instead, he brought out The Rock, who stared Reigns down at the end of the show. Many fans feel like Rhodes’ long-awaited WrestleMania moment has been taken from him.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray took to Twitter to share his belief that, if handled correctly, the situation could lead to Cody Rhodes becoming so powerful and beloved by the WWE Universe that he will be able to shoot Force Lightning out of his fingers and control Midi-Chlorian counts.
In other words, it seems like Bully Ray thinks that Cody could become an even bigger babyface if this situation is handled properly. However, he noted that he must hear why Cody stepped aside.
On the February 5 episode of WWE RAW, Cody Rhodes is set to face Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bull Rope match. Nakamura attacked Cody backstage at a live event over the weekend, seemingly reigniting their feud in the process.
WrestleZone will have full coverage of WWE RAW as it airs on Monday
