The Rock thanked the crowd after his return to WWE SmackDown.
The Rock made a surprise appearance on the February 2 episode of WWE SmackDown. He confronted Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns after Cody Rhodes said he would not be facing Reigns at WrestleMania 40. “The Great One” then stared down Reigns as the show came to an end.
In a WWE SmackDown Exclusive, The Rock addressed the crowd after he stared Reigns down.
“Well, it’s become very clear and evident to The Rock that when you want to create something iconic and when you want to create something magical, you come to the Magic City,” he said. “This is a city deep on history, and ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I’m happy to tell you that tonight, all of us, we made history were in Birmingham, Alabama. Birmingham, I thank you. I love you. If you smell what The Rock is cooking.”
