Deonna Purrazzo will challenge for the gold at AEW Revolution.
In a tweet, AEW CEO Tony Khan confirmed that Toni Storm will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Deonna Purrazzo at the show.
Purrazzo signed with AEW in January and appeared on the January 3 episode of AEW Dynamite. Upon her arrival, she targeted AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm, and she has been undefeated so far. Most recently, Purrazzo beat Taya Valkyrie on the January 31 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Storm won the title by defeating Hikaru Shida at AEW Full Gear in November, and she is a three-time champion.
