AEW Dynamite Viewership Decreases On 1/31, Demo Also Drops

AEW Dynamite saw a slight decrease in viewership on January 31.

According to Wrestlenomics, 818,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, drawing a 0.26 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when 837,000 viewers tuned in. The demo is also down from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.27 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Jon Moxley defeating Jeff Hardy. Moxley was attacked by members of the CMLL roster who were sitting in the crowd at ringside following the match.

Elsewhere on the show, Hangman Page defeated Toa Liona of The Mogul Embassy.

In women’s action, Deonna Purrazzo defeated Taya Valkyrie. AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm did commentary during the matchup.

In the main event of the show, Swerve Strickland defeated Rob Van Dam in a hardcore match with AEW World Champion Samoa Joe on commentary.
