La Wera Loca, Taya Valkyrie is one of the top stars in AEW. She recently ran into a friend of hers. It was none other than Taryn Terrell.
Taryn Terrell is a former TNA Wrestling Knockouts Champion. She has also competed in many other wrestling promotions, including Ohio Valley Wrestling, Florida Championship Wrestling, and the National Wrestling Alliance.
Recently, La Wera Loca took to Twitter to share a picture of the reunion of her and her former colleague Taryn Terrell. The two caught up with each other after a long time when she visited New Orleans.
“When in New Orleans, you know I had to get coffee with the Queen @IAmTarynTerrell
!!!! So happy we got to catch up. Perfect little happiness boost before tonight’s #AEWDynamite!!! @AEW,” Taya Valkyrie tweeted.
Taryn’s last match was a handicap match loss (with Natalia Markova) to Max The Impaler on the October 29, 2022 episode of NWA USA. She announced her in-ring retirement the next month.

Taya Valkyrie was trolled by fans for her match against Britt Baker
One of the biggest matches of Valkyrie’s run in the Jacksonville-based promotion was against Dr. Britt Baker. As big as that match was, the actual bout did not receive a very positive response from fans. The former WWE Superstar and Baker were trolled by fans.
During an interview with DAZN, Britt Baker claimed that she was surprised by the hate online and also felt bad for Taya Valkyrie getting dragged into it. Baker was convinced that people don’t like her on social media.
“I was really surprised by it,” Britt Baker admitted. “I’ve had worse matches on AEW live TV. I’ve had better matches, of course. But I was really surprised. I think a lot of it came from people that just don’t like me on social media. I feel bad that Taya kind of got dragged into it.
“I’ve seen, I think probably every week since then, there be missed timing and missed communications and missed spots on every wrestling show since then. No one else quite got that much blowback. And that’s fine, but these social media trolls need to realize who they’re dealing with. I’m the D.M.D. I’m the face of the division for a reason.
Britt Baker on how to handle trolls online
“You’re just gonna motivate me to be even bigger and better. And that’s fine. I don’t think anybody should ever have to go through the quote-unquote bullying that these trolls do. It’s not just me. It’s everybody. I think every wrestler goes through it. And it’s from everything from what you look like to what you wear to what your hobbies are to then your wrestling, and you don’t deserve the spot you are in, and it’s someone’s spot.
“Something is always your fault, and you may not have anything to do with it, but because they don’t like you, they automatically assume it’s your fault. It’s so frustrating because you want to shout from the mountain tops, ‘Hey, this is the real story, and now you guys can line up and apologize to me.’ But you also have to think about what’s best for business. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of self-control.”
