CMLL sends a message to Jon Moxley.
During the January 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley battled Jeff Hardy in the opening contest. CMLL’s Mistico, Mascara Dorada 2.0, and Volador Jr. were shown sitting in the front row, which led to Moxley confronting them.
Later on after Moxley scored the win, he engaged in some trash-talking until the luchadors jumped the barricade and attacked Moxley. Members of the AEW locker room ultimately had to break it up.
As noted last week, CMLL stars including Místico, Máscara Dorada, Volador Jr. and Hechicero were confirmed to be making future AEW appearances. Tony Khan has since announced that Hechicero will face Bryan Danielson on the February 3 episode of AEW Collision.
