Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that the PWTees aspect of the situation was linked to his NJPW contract expiring, and it was not connected to WWE or AEW. Sapp then cited sources who noted that NJPW has been understanding of Okada speaking with other companies. Per Sapp, NJPW sources say that things have been amicable between them.

Additionally, Sapp cites WWE sources who confirmed that there have been talks between Okada’s side and the company. The report notes that WWE talent have confirmed that Okada has been contact with others on the roster to gauge his offers, WWE’s approach, and to help him weigh his decision. There is no word on any pitches, let alone plans in place, for Okada.
