Bronson Reed got a new entrance on this week’s episode of WWE RAW.
Reed entered his match against Jey Uso with a new Titantron video. The video featured Reed stomping through a city reminiscent of a kaiju monster.
Reed teased getting the new entrance during a Royal Rumble weekend interview with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. Reed was asked about finding inspiration for his ring gear and what he might have planned for the week ahead.
“I feel like more and more people step up their game when it comes to the PLEs. People having extravagant gear, and that’s no different for me this weekend,” Reed explained.
“I do have new gear, a new entrance robe. It’s sort of not themed towards anything wrestling [related] but I’m sure people will think it is themed towards wrestling when they see it. It’s mainly to stand out. It is more of an influence of stuff that I like outside of the ring,” he added. “And we might be seeing a new sort of entrance on Monday night as well.”
Pritchard joked that Reed should wear the green Misawa gear for WrestleMania 40 since it might get a pop from the Philadelphia crowd. Reed closed by teasing his WrestleMania gear might have a bit of green in it, but not for that specific reason.

Beast From The East
Bronson Reed, then known as JONAH in IMPACT Wrestling, spoke with WrestleZone and shared how Bam Bam Bigelow has influenced his career. There’s an obvious nod to the “Beast From The East” in the flames on his ring gear, but Reed said he also sought to model his ring work after Bigelow’s style too.
“He was close to 400 pounds, and he was so agile and doing things that you didn’t expect him to do. He worked so well in the ring and that’s what I want to be. I’m 345 pounds but I want people to realize that I am a 345-pound super heavyweight, that is still the work rate guy as well, I’m still the wrestler. So people like him,” he explained, “Vader, those people come to mind, Stan Hansen, when I try to model what I do in the ring now.”
Natural Disaster
Bronson Reed also wore a Natural Disasters-inspired singlet for his NXT North American Championship in a red, black and white singlet. He spoke about how important wrestling gear is to a wrestler’s persona and how it’s an easy way to pay homage to the past.
“Yeah, very much. It was a similar design that I’ve done before, but I wanted to do the red, white and black again to be like Typhoon or Earthquake because I’m a big fan of them as well,” he explained. “I think within the company, a lot of people were trying to do, like, Marvel sort of gear and stuff like that. And growing up, I liked that stuff as well, but I was always such a big wrestling fan. That’s the stuff that I want to pay homage to. And there’s still some other wrestlers in the future that I will do similar or something inspired to by them wrestling gear-wise.”
