Jade Cargill describes how her time in AEW helped prepare her for WWE.
Former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill had an impressive run in the company, she had a lengthy title reign and a dominant undefeated streak. She signed with WWE in September 2023 and made a few appearances across WWE programming over the next few weeks. Cargill was then absent until she made her in-ring debut at WWE Royal Rumble.
In an interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Jade Cargill was asked to describe how her AEW experience prepared her for WWE.
“I felt like I would have never got a better start other than AEW. That’s me being very honest,” Jade Cargill said. “I think the veterans in the locker room prepared me for the grander stage at WWE. I got a great experience there. Being thrown in the water and being able to swim and survive has prepared me for the big stage that WWE and the locker room, the phenomenal staff that WWE has, they have a front office like no other. I’m just ecstatic to be here.”
