It seems there will be plenty of surprise entrants in tonight’s Royal Rumble matches.
Compared to years past, very few names have been announced for the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches tonight, which has led the WWE Universe to expect a multitude of surprises this evening.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), former All Elite Wrestling star Jade Cargill has been discussed about making her WWE in-ring debut in tonight’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.
To add some smoke to this fire, Sapp also reported that Cargill was involved with the rehearsals for the match on Thursday.
But it must be stressed, as we know in WWE, plans can change constantly, and it might not happen tonight.
Booker T on a potential Jade Cargill debut in the Royal Rumble
Jade Cargill in the Royal Rumble has been a hot topic this week, and Booker T discussed that possibility on this week’s Hall of Fame Podcast.
“It’s time. It’s time for Jade. I mean, this is the moment,” Booker T said. “This is like the biggest one we could have for Jade Cargill. I mean, I don’t know if that’s going to happen or anything like that. But it would definitely be a moment people will remember for a very, very, very long time. So I can see that name being definitely high up on the bill.
“You know what, you almost forget about Jade Cargill, that’s what’s been cool about it. [They] haven’t been like overexposing her or anything like that. But you know when that moment happens, it’s gonna be huge. It’s gonna be a moment. There’s gonna be some pageantry behind it. So, man, this could be it, bro. This could be it.”
