Ava made her WWE SmackDown debut just a few days after she was named the new general manager of NXT.
In recent weeks, Ava has become an authority figure on NXT. Her role was solidified on the January 23 episode, as William Regal announced that she was the new general manager.
On the January 26 episode of WWE SmackDown, Ava made her debut in a backstage segment, as she spoke with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. Though details were not provided, it was confirmed that NXT will participate in the Royal Rumble. Specific superstars were not named.
