Recently, the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion and his wife Becky Lynch spoke with GQ Sports about the ten things that they cannot live without. One of the things that Rollins took fondly to was the steel black chair. While all The Man was reminded of was pain from getting hit by the deadly weapon, Seth Rollins claimed that the chair was the reason his run as a singles star skyrocketed.
Back in 2014, at the Payback Premium Live Event, Evolution lost to The S.H.I.E.L.D. in the main event. The night after, Triple H along with Orton and Batista, confronted The S.H.I.E.L.D. yet again. This time around, The Game mentioned that there is always a Plan B. At that moment, Seth Rollins smacked Roman Reigns with the steel chair and attacked Dean Ambrose as well. Then, Rollins joined forces with Triple H, and since then The Visionary has been winning championship after championship. He is also one of the top champions in the company right now.
“And for me personally, the black chair changed the trajectory of my career. I swatted Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose with a black chair very similar to this nearly, almost a decade ago now at this point. Turned on my best friends in a very devious moment. I do not regret breaking up the S.H.I.E.L.D. If you wanna make an omelet you got to break a few eggs,” Seth Rollins said.
Seth Rollins’ wife Becky Lynch reveals her favorite ring attire
During the same episode, Rollins’ wife and former WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch shared her favorite wrestling attire. She revealed that she often wears a jacket made by one of her fans, Kimberly.
“Wrestling attire [is one of the 10 most essential things for Becky Lynch.] I call myself The Man, I’m The Man. I’m The Man, Becky Lynch. This one [the jacket] is one of my favorite ones. A fan made this for me. Shout out, Kimberly. It’s a little bit tattered because I have worn it so much. But it says I’m The Man, and then it has the Pearl Jam Stick Logo holding a title belt. Pearl Jam is my favorite band, so I love this one. This is my favorite.”
