WWE’s Nick Khan Once Appeared As A Contestant On Wheel Of Fortune (Video)

Nick Khan won big on Wheel Of Fortune, and it helped kick off his career.

MERA Wrestling posted a video of WWE President Nick Khan’s appearance on a December 2000 episode of Wheel Of Fortune.

Khan was beginning his law career at the time of the taping. He also told host Pat Sajak he was writing a book about getting through law school. Khan said he’d been out of law school for about a year at the time of the taping.

“It’s actually [a book] about law school,” Khan said. “Like a 10-step program to get through it.”

Khan ultimately won the show and he got to compete in the Bonus Round at the end of the night. He missed out on winning a Caribbean vacation because he couldn’t solve the final puzzle. (_ _ TE _ _ E = WHITE DOVE)

It’ll work

Nick Khan addressed RAW’s future on Netflix during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show. Khan says there’s a lot to consider, but RAW is staying put on Monday nights for now.

“At this moment in time, it remains Monday Night RAW. But keep in mind, we’ve got ten-and-a-half months until this deal is up and running. So we’re looking at what you’re looking at and everyone else is looking at. You have a proliferation of gambling with Monday Night Football, you have an advanced Disney package — better games — all credit to Jimmy Pitaro, [and] the ‘Bobfather,’ as you and I call him, Pat, Bob Iger, and all the other good folks at Disney.

“You’ve got the ManningCast. This year it was on ESPN and ABC, Monday Night Football. You got — last season, the playoff game, which I believe was Tom Brady at the Cowboys, or the season before, whatever that was. You also have the College National Championship, football and hoops on Mondays. So you’ve got a lot of Mondays where there’s stiff competition. That said, even against Alabama [vs.] Michigan, and the Washington/Texas game a few weeks ago, Monday Night RAW did a 0.6 in the 18-49 demo, which is a massive rating against big competition. If we stay on Mondays, it’ll work. If we move it to a different day, we think it’ll work too.”
