Kazuchika Okada has vacated his third of the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
At NJPW Road to New Beginning on January 24, Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Tomohiro Ishii beat TMDK to retain the titles. After the bell, Okada said goodbye to the Korakuen Hall crowd. He then announced that he would be vacating his third of the titles, as he will be leaving the company.
As previously announced, Okada will leave NJPW after the end of his contract, and he will finish up with the company with some final dates in February.
Okada, Tanahashi, and Ishii won the titles at Wrestling Dontaku on May 3, 2023, and they held the gold for over 260 days.
