STARDOM held their annual awards show on January 21st to recognize their talents’ work throughout this past year in wrestling.
STARDOM roster members arrived at the event in formal attire to receive their respective trophies. The company awarded recognition to the top-performing in-ring talents throughout the year 2023. STARDOM executives decided the winners of each category with the exception of the “SHINING Award” voted by the fans.

The complete list of winners for the STARDOM Awards 2023 are as follows:
- MVP: Tam Nakano
- Best Bout: Giulia vs. Megan Bayne (Dream Queendom 2023)
- Best Tag Team: Natsupoi & Saori Anou
- Best Faction/Unit: Queen’s Quest
- Special Achievement: Mayu Iwatani
- Fighting Spirit: Suzu Suzuki
- Best Skill: MIRAI
- SHINING Award: Maika
Reigning World of Stardom Champion Maika took to Twitter to thank the STARDOM fans for voting her to be the recipient of the SHINING Award. “The proof that many people saw and recognized me. I’m glad it turned out like this. Thank you so much, everyone. So much so that you won’t regret that one vote,” she says (translation made available by Google Translate). Maika previously promised to usher in a new era of STARDOM following her world championship victory at Dream Queendom 2023.
Her rival, Suzu Suzuki, defeated Maika at this past year’s 5 Star Grand Prix Tournament which sent her to the main event spot for the World of Stardom Championship at Dream Queendom 2023. However, due to Tam Nakano‘s injury and relinquishment of the title, Maika won a one-night tournament to earn a shot at the vacant title as well. While Maika was the eventual winner of the Dream Queendom main event, Suzuki’s efforts are not unrecognized with the Fighting Spirit trophy. While Suzuki may have lost the marquee match, her efforts remain acknowledged as STARDOM awarded her with the “Fighting Spirit” trophy.
