WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash is not happy that Tony Khan called Eric Bischoff a has-been, as he responded to the comment.
AEW CEO Tony Khan and Eric Bischoff recently traded shots on social media, as Khan called Bischoff “a miserable has-been.” The argument spun out of Khan taking issue with the double standard of fans criticizing HOOK getting a title shot but not WWE’s Jinder Mahal.
Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash took umbrage with the statement, noting that Khan should not have been online. He also claimed that you have to be someone to be a has-been. (H/t Danny Wolstanholme of Wrestling Inc. for the transcription)
“Maybe I’m out of my mind,” Nash said. “If I’m a f*****g billionaire, do I give a f**k? … I’m not a billionaire, and I don’t give a f**k. I think when you say that somebody like Eric Bischoff is a has-been, and no matter how you f*****g dice it, there’s only one person on this planet that beat Vince McMahon at his game. Period … Eric doesn’t want to be a ‘been’ right now. He’s happy being ‘has.’ But the thing is, you have to ‘be’ before you can be a ‘has-been.’ You have to ‘be.'”
Kevin Nash previously shared his suggestion for a way that AEW could avoid leaks. Check out his comments here.
