Ash By Elegance (Dana Brooke) Feels Like TNA Will Bring Out The Best In Her

Ash By Elegance says TNA will bring out the best in her.

During a recent interview with DS Shin of Ring The Belle, new TNA Knockout Ash By Elegance opened up about constantly facing fan criticism during her time in WWE as Dana Brooke. Now that she’s in TNA, Ash believes she’ll be able to show a different side of herself.

“You know something, they haven’t gotten to see the hardcore side of me,” Ash said. “I had a bit of a run in NXT with a kendo stick match, and people were like, ‘Oh, she’s not going to be able to hang. She’s just a pretty face. Uh-uh. You don’t know what I have deep down inside of me, and I’ve never been able to tap into that side.”

“With TNA, doors are open,” she added. “That’s a reason why, too, I went TNA’s direction. I know what I can do, I know I can hang with the best of the best. I believe the TNA Knockouts division roster is the best of the best, period. I’ve seen what they can do, I’ve been watching the product. I’ve been exploring other avenues. Before I signed with any other wrestling company, I was watching the product and I felt as though TNA is going to be able to bring out the best in me.

Haters are my motivators

“With that being said, yeah, haters are my motivators, for sure. The thing is, they’re like, ‘Oh, she’s a pretty face, oh, she looks disgusting, she’s skinny, she’s fat, she’s transformed, or she’s had plastic surgery.’ It’s like, none of that matters. What matters is how I feel inside and what I know I’m capable of proving. I’m going to show and prove the world that, yeah, I am a pretty face, but I’m a badass too.”

Ash By Elegance has confirmed that she’s signed a contract with TNA Wrestling. The terms of the deal are currently unknown. However she is set to make her in-ring debut at TNA’s tapings in Orlando this weekend.
