New champions have been crowned.
During the January 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, Mogul Embassy’s Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona were tasked with defending their ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship against Bullet Club Gold’s Jay White and The Gunns.
At the end, Prince Nana nearly struck White with a title belt behind the referee’s back when The Acclaimed’s Anthony Bowens ran down to intervene. White was then able to put away Kaun with Blade Runner and then pinned him for the three.
It’s worth noting that The Acclaimed recently pitched to form a faction alliance with Bullet Club Gold in the wake of both factions feuding with Undisputed Kingdom.
Mogul Embassy’s second reign now ends at 78 days. They were originally dethroned by Hangman Page and The Young Bucks in September before regaining the gold in November. This is the first ROH Six-Man title reign for Bullet Club Gold.
