WWE Hall of Famer JBL made a surprise appearance on the January 16 episode of WWE NXT.
In a backstage segment on Tuesday night, Josh Briggs was watching one of his matches and trying to see what he could improve on. John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) approached him and shook his hand. Briggs asked him for advice, and he encouraged the young star to show the world who he was. JBL highlighted his own success but noted that Briggs would have a different journey. He emphasized that Briggs should show NXT who he was.
Briggs recently started a new chapter when he parted ways with his tag team partner Brooks Jensen and their friend Fallon Henley.
