Lyra Valkyria‘s new number one contender has been determined.
In the main event of the January 16 episode of WWE NXT, 20 women competed in a battle royal with a unique twist. Once the final four came down to Kiana James, Kelani Jordan, Roxanne Perez, and Fallon Henley, the bout turned into a standard four-way contest.
In the end, Jordan looked to have it secured when Izzi Dame pulled James out of the way from a moonsault. Perez then hit Jordan with Pop-Rox and pinned her for the three-count before James could get back inside to break it up.
As a result, Perez will now challenge Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship on February 4 in Clarksville, Tennessee. The two will also meet for a contract signing on January 23.
