Yuji Nagata will compete at MLW SuperFight.
MLW announced that Yuji Nagata will face Jacob Fatu at the February 3 event. The match comes in conjunction with New Japan Pro-Wrestling. MLW, NJPW, and CMLL previously formed a strategic alliance, and Nagata’s debut marks the latest showcase of this collaboration.
Nagata is a former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, and he is a legend in the Japanese wrestling world. Fatu is a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion, and he will look to pick up a statement win over the veteran.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) previously reported that Nagata would be coming in and competing for MLW.
MLW SuperFight will also feature the MLW debut of CMLL star Mistico. Plius, Alex Kane will defend the world title against Satoshi Kojima. More information is available here. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
