Nic Nemeth comments on his arrival in TNA.
Nic Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, made his TNA debut at the end of TNA Hard To Kill on January 13. He confronted Moose after the latter won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
In an interview on TNA’s Instagram, Nic Nemeth discussed coming to TNA. He noted that a lot of people reached out to him after his WWE release, and he stated that he felt like a wanted man. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription)
“I had a lot of time to think in the last three, four, five, six months to where what can I do to extend my legacy but also have an entirely different chapter, a different mindset, a different person and I said, ‘I really feel like I’m a wanted man’ because the day I left my last job, I had so many — I’m so lucky that I had so many people reach out. Not to say thank you or none of that stuff, congrats. A bunch of people reached out instantly and said, ‘We want you here. I go, ‘Man, it is great to feel that.’
“I am very fortunate and lucky that people came out, ‘How can we get you? What can we do?’ And I was like, ‘Man, I’m kind of a wanted man.’ It got me more excited and I’m back in it… I was like, ‘I could show up and be a hired gun here, I could take this guy out and we could run.”
Nic Nemeth On Making The Move To TNA
Nic Nemeth then stated that seeing TNA return with the Hard To Kill pay-per-view, he felt like it could be a perfect it.
“It’s like, I’m figuring out where we could go,” Nic Nemeth said. “I watch TNA go to IMPACT and become TNA in this special moment at Hard To Kill where this is a coming out party for TNA again. I go, ‘That could be a perfect fit. And hopefully, I can back it up in the ring other than just talking about it and showing up.”

Nemeth has also gotten involved with NJPW; he will face David Finlay at NJPW The New Beginnings on February 23.
