Logan Paul sends a message to Kevin Owens.
On the “New Year’s Revolution” edition of WWE SmackDown on January 5, Kevin Owens beat Santos Escobar in the finals of the United States Championship Tournament. In doing so, he earned a shot at the title, which is held by Logan Paul. Paul confronted Owens after the bout, and the fan-favorite dropped “The Maverick” with a stiff shot to the face.
Logan Paul appeared in a taped message on the January 12 episode of WWE SmackDown, and he had a black eye. He then threatened to beat Owens in a court of law, as he noted that the cast on Owens’ injured hand was a liability.
“This little black eye you gave me, it’s not just a black eye,” Logan Paul said. “It’s evidence. Turns out that little cast on your hand could be a liability, a liability not just for me, but for our match. Because if you think you’re just gonna stroll into the Royal Rumble with that cast, excuse me, with that weapon, on your hand, I promise, I’m not just gonna beat you in a wrestling match. No, I am gonna beat you in the court of law.
“I will run your pockets so deep, you’re gonna forget you’re wearing pants, Kevin Owens. So consider this, yes, I’m ready for our fight. But are you ready to face me in a fair fight, you little cheater? You little cheater-cheater pumpkin eater? Because if you roll up to Royal Rumble with that cast on, you can consider our match and your chance at glory, canceled. See you soon, Kevin Owens.”
Kevin Owens Responds To Logan Paul
Later in the show, Kevin Owens responded to Logan Paul. He said the broken hand was an advantage for Paul, but it would not stop him from competing at WWE Royal Rumble. He then noted that they should talk about the situation in person. Owens then invited Paul to be a guest on The Kevin Owens Show next week.
