Orange Cassidy: Jon Moxley Is A Leader For AEW

AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy calls Jon Moxley a leader and says he tries to lead by example.

Cassidy and Moxley feuded throughout the second half of 2023. Moxley beat Cassidy to win the AEW International Championship at AEW All Out. Cassidy later regained the gold and defeated Moxley in a rematch at AEW Full Gear.

In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Orange Cassidy reflected on his feud with Moxley and highlighted Moxley’s role as a leader. He noted that he saw the example Moxley was setting, and he wanted to follow it.

“Jon Moxley is a leader for AEW. I think a lot of people look to Jon Moxley for leadership. Like Jon Moxley, [I’m] a person that leads by example. I saw the example that he was setting. And I was like, you know what? I want to do that. So I tried, but no one can be Jon Moxley because there is no Jon Moxley. I am forever in his debt for him changing and bringing out this version of me that is clearly a better version because I still have this [title] and I beat him.”

Cassidy competed on the January 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. He teamed up with Adam Copeland, Preston Vance, and Dustin Rhodes to beat Mogul Embassy and Lance Archer.
