Tama Tonga will defend the gold at NJPW The New Beginning in Nagoya.
NJPW announced that EVIL will challenge Tonga for the NEVER Openweight Championship at the January 20 event. Tonga regained the gold at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 but said January would be his last month with the company.
Plus, Taiji Ishimori will defend the KOPW 2024 Title against Great-O-Khan. Elsewhere on the show, Los Ingobernables De Japon will battle Just Five Guys.
Additionally, Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Togi Makabe, and Tomohiro Ishii will face TMDK/
