The first two matches in the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic have been confirmed for the January 9 episode of WWE NXT.
As previously announced, the teams of Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin and Axiom and Nathan Frazer would compete in the tournament. In an update, their first-round opponents have been confirmed.
On the January 9 episode of WWE NXT, Breakker and Corbin will face former NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang). Meanwhile, Axiom and Frazer will face Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.
The winner of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will earn a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship. The Creed Brothers won the tournament in 2022.
