It sounds like AJ Francis has big plans in Las Vegas this weekend.
Francis (aka Dolla) posted a new announcement on Twitter, revealing he and DJ Whoo Kid will be at TNA Hard To Kill in Las Vegas. The pair will be on hand to premiere a music video for their music video for “We Out$ide.”
“This is my personal DJ, DJ Whoo Kid. And he’s got a residency in Las Vegas, so I figured I might as well use that money that these billion-dollar corporations are already giving me to stand here and breathe air… to pull up on TNA’s Hard To Kill,” Francis said. “And when we pull up, we gonna debut our brand new hit single music video, We Out$ide. Cuz it’s a new year, and we out$ide.”
It is currently unknown if Francis will have an in-ring role on the pay-per-view.
There’s nothing like it
Francis, a former NFL star, spoke to WrestleZone about how he expanded his brand in a new way through wrestling. In comparing the two experiences, he said nothing beats the rush of being in the ring.
“It hits different when you actually are a performer. Once you feel the rush of going through that curtain, or kicking out at 2.9 and the crowd thought it was over,” Francis explained, “or blowing your comeback or anything that is like a big high-intensity moment in wrestling. There’s nothing like that though. There’s nothing like it.
“I played on Thursday Night Football, Thanksgiving night, 10 million people watching at home, [It was] one of the biggest games of the year. I made a TFL [tackle for loss] that helped us win the game. I’m telling you, wrestling, doing a segment with LA Knight in Madison Square Garden felt better,” Francis said. “I have something else incredibly cool to compare it to, and it’s still way cooler. There’s nothing like it.”
